Meet the Team
Blakely Heckman, LCSW
Owner, Therapist, & Clinical Supervisor
Hi there! I’m so glad you found us.
My mission has been (and likely will always be) providing accessible and quality mental health care to those who are seeking it. This has led me to create Middle State - with the intent to work with clients to meet their needs regarding access to care, insurance networks, and collaborative engagement among our therapists and you!
I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to wellness. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or dissatisfied with your circumstances, I’m here to help you navigate these challenges. Whether you’re dealing with ongoing depression, anxiety, past trauma, or other emotional difficulties, there is hope for healing.
My clinical experience encompasses adult mental health and wellness, with a diverse background in outpatient community mental health, integrated care medical settings, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. I have worked with individuals facing a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, psychotic disorders, and personality disorders. I believe in creating a safe and empathetic space that fosters a collaborative partnership, which can lead to profound healing.
I see individuals aged 18 and up in person and virtually in Colorado.
Camille Woodward, MFT-C
TherapistHi, I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFT-C) in the state of Colorado with a Master’s degree in Psychological Sciences with a clinical concentration. Since 2015, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, inpatient and outpatient therapy, crisis stabilization, and group therapy. I specialize in working with couples, young adults, and teens, and I’ve supported clients through a wide range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, ASD, and relationship difficulties.
My approach to therapy is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. I lead with curiosity and compassion, creating a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I deeply value the therapeutic relationship and work to tailor sessions to your unique needs and goals, whether we’re addressing past trauma, current stressors, or persistent patterns in your life. I don’t believe in having all the answers but in helping you uncover your own insights and strengths.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy crafts and creative hobbies like silversmithing, and I regularly practice mindfulness, something I also integrate into my clinical work. I love learning about my clients’ passions and finding ways to incorporate those interests into the healing process. If you’re looking for someone who will walk alongside you with empathy, flexibility, and curiosity, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
I see individuals age 8 and up, couples, and families in person and virtually in Colorado.
